1. When you ask for your pocketbook and her response is, "No. Mine. No Touch."
2. When she decides it's reading time she gives each family member a book and commands, "book!" until everyone is obediently flipping pages.
3. When she decides that she wants her brother's ipod she says, "My turn!"
4. While holding her and she wants your attention but you are talking to another adult, she covers your mouth and turns your face toward hers.
5. When she wants you to sit next to her on the couch she yells "sit down" and bangs on the spot next to her.
6. When you are sitting in the seat she wants, she commands, "move!" as she attempts to push you off.
7. When she shakes her pointer at her little friend and says, "no table" and then says the name of the preschool director because she is threatening to tattle. There is no climbing on the table allowed.
8. When she decides it is time for her "baby" to go to sleep she puts her finger to her mouth and says, "Shhhh! Seepin'!"
9. When you are sitting and relaxing and she wants you to go somewhere with her, she grabs you by the hand and demands, "walk!" and you find yourself obeying and saying, "okay boss."
10. When her grandmother refers to her as "noisy" (or as I would say, talkative and possessing good verbal skills for her age) and "bossy" (or as I would say, assertive, and confident that she will be heard) and says that she can't believe your little one isn't hoarse from her non-stop talking.

Spent the first seder watching a 2+ year old boy throw things off the table any time he was displeased. About the worst behavior I've seen, but knowing how the parents and grandparents interact, I really can't blame the kid for not knowing better. You've got one that sounds truly adorable.
Thanks. She is so, so adorable. She is also a good girl. She's assertive but will accept limits after she offers a protest. We haven't gotten into any real meltdowns, at least not yet. We nipped her biting and hitting in the bud very quickly. It helps that this is not our first two year old. It is a tricky age.
I am so glad CD has such a great home! She sounds delightful! I like children that know what they want, lol! I love how 'God' knew where CD was suppose to be, and put her there. It gives me faith that everything works out. I pray that you will be her forever family.

really glad to see she has you all wrapped around her little foster finger.
